Aspen Laser Systems, LLC, a rising star in the medical device industry, specializing in photobiomodulation, has officially launched the Ascent Laser Series. This new series boasts 32 watts of combined power and features the industry’s only patented quad-wave laser, integrating wavelengths of 670nm, 810nm, 980nm, and 1064nm.
After a period of soft launch, Aspen Laser is now ready to ship the Ascent Laser units. The Ascent Laser is notable for being the second system to include four wavelengths, following the Apex Laser, their flagship model. Both the Apex and Ascent lasers deliver the highest power of red light available in therapeutic devices, making them unique in the market. Chase Vorwaller, Vice President of Product Development, highlights that the Ascent is a step forward in their technological advancements, offering new wavelengths and enhanced power and treatment options.
The Ascent Laser combines four wavelengths to operate synergistically at high power levels, aiming to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes. It is FDA-cleared, with three of its wavelengths being near-infrared (invisible NIR), primarily used for temporary relief of pain and inflammation. The high-powered red (visible) wavelength is designed to stimulate collagen production, increase fibroblast production, enhance blood circulation to the tissue, and reduce cell inflammation.
Aspen Laser Systems is dedicated to redefining pain management and recovery through ongoing research and development, aiming to elevate medical care standards and improve the quality of life with their drug-free photobiomodulation products. They also offer full-body photobiomodulation through their subsidiary, TheraLight. In 2020, Aspen Laser Systems was ranked on the INC 5000 list, marking their first appearance as the only medical laser company on the list.
